Lots of stuff  has been happening photography wise lately.  I did two lovely weddings and have another one this weekend on Coochimudlo Island which is a cool place to go.  I have always loved islands.

I’ve been doing some bush walking, shooting in gardens, chasing waterfalls and even some experimental photography with bubbles, water and oil and flowers and oil.  I’ve been preparing a new talk for a camera club next week called “You Don’t have to Travel Far to Take Great Photos”.  Perfect for the house bound photographer.

I photographed a huge family of 35 the other week, a man for his business head shots the other day and I will be photographing a family on the beach tomorrow and and then shooting a group of graduating school friends for their formal photos in two locations straight after.

Next week I’m also presenting a talk on wedding photography at another camera club so it will be a busy week of editing images and giving talks.

Lots of background work has been put into my Christmas venture called Santa Beach Photos www.SantaBeachPhotos.com that I’ve been involved with since it began in 2015.  We love to meet all the families and their pets on the beach with our fantastic Santa and make Christmas memories and traditions for them.  We have families that return year after year.  I’ve been handling all the marketing, social media, booking changes, client queries and website work along with my talented son who built our website and the booking plug in which is new and working well.

Alongside all of that I found some time to work with another photographer doing a photoshoot with my motorbike and me.  Loved how the photos turned out despite all the midgies biting us in all sorts of places.

I even gave my office a good thorough cleanout which produced lots of interesting finds.

Here’s a few shots from recent shoots both personal and professional.
